Painting in Ghost Town of Terlingua, Texas

Copper enjoys painting from detailed photo realism to plein-air impressionism.   "Have Palette, Will Travel" is undoubtedly her motto as she carries her easel with her, painting around the globe.

Since 1970 Copper has been painting Texas Big Bend National Park, intimately connecting with the Chihuahuan desert and inhabitants, capturing the very light and soul of the region.

Three artists who inspire her through their lives and works are Claude Monet, Vincent VanGogh, and Keith Richards.
